ÑÇɫӰ¿â Respiratory Care celebrates graduation
- ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College honored the 13th graduating class of the Respiratory Care program during a Dec. 7 ceremony on the college's Central Campus in Hillsboro.
Auditions for ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre's "The Diary of Anne Frank" will be January 17
- ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre will hold auditions for the spring production of "The Diary of Anne Frank," by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, and newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman.
ÑÇɫӰ¿â's Practical Nursing program celebrates graduation
- Sixteen graduates of ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College's Practical Nursing program were recognized during a December 5 pinning ceremony at the college's Central Campus in Hillsboro.

Adult Opportunity Center offers GEDs, basics classes for free
- Karyn Evans wants people to know that if they don't have a high school diploma, don't feel prepared for college or just want to brush up on basic academics, they can get it all done at the Adult Opportunity Center in Hillsboro for FREE.
Getting better drivers on the road
- People can expect the nationwide shortage of truck drivers to worsen in coming years, according to a recent report from an Indiana trucking authority. Local truck driving instructor JT Smith said there has never been a better time to enter the transportation industry.

- ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre presents "Nightmare in Suburbia," playing November 1-3 in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College's Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro. The Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m.; the Sunday matinee begins at 3:30 p.m.

Jeffrey Newman sworn in as ÑÇɫӰ¿â State trustee
- At the August 21 meeting of the ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community college Board of Trustees, Brown County Juvenile Court Judge Danny R. Bubp presided over the swearing in of Jeffrey D. Newman who was appointed by Gov. DeWine for a term through May 11, 2024.
Governor DeWine Appoints Newman to ÑÇɫӰ¿â Board of Trustees
- Governor Mike DeWine announced the appointment of West Union (Adams County) Certified Public Accountant, Jeffrey D. Newman to the ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College Board of Trustees for a term beginning August 16, 2019, and ending May 11, 2024.

ÑÇɫӰ¿â to hold orientation for FREE GED preparation classes
- The Adult Opportunity Center (AOC) at ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College is offering an August orientation for new or returning program enrollees in basic academic skills, GED preparation, and college readiness.

ÑÇɫӰ¿â & SSU announce new degree pathway in Occupational Therapy
- ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College (ÑÇɫӰ¿â) and Shawnee State University (SSU) have joined in partnership to increase access and affordability by establishing a degree pathway option for students in Occupational Therapy. This agreement will allow students to take a total of two years of college courses at ÑÇɫӰ¿â State to obtain an associate degree with courses offered by Shawnee State University.

- The Washington C.H. Police Department presented its annual scholarship to Trevor Phillips, a graduate of Washington High School and the son of Cathy Phillips.

- The Hillsboro Elks Lodge and the ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College Foundation have announced Madison Edwards as the 2019 recipient of the Hillsboro Elks Scholarship.
ÑÇɫӰ¿â to host education conference
- The eleventh annual education conference, "Building Bridges," will be held on Tuesday, July 30 – Friday, August 2, 2019 at ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College's Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive in Hillsboro.
ÑÇɫӰ¿â announces honors lists for spring semester
- ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College has released its President's List and Dean's List for academic excellence for Spring Semester 2019. To be eligible for the President's List, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average while carrying a specific number of academic credit hours. Those who achieve the Dean's List are full-time students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

ÑÇɫӰ¿â's Associate Degree Nursing program celebrates graduation
- Forty-nine graduates of ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College's Associate Degree Nursing program were recognized during a May 9 pinning ceremony at the college's Central Campus in Hillsboro.
ÑÇɫӰ¿â Board of Trustees to meet May 10
- The ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College Board of Trustees will meet at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 10, in Room 184 on ÑÇɫӰ¿â Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro. The meeting is open to the public.

Auditions for ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre's "9 to 5: The Musical" will be April 26
- ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre will hold auditions for the summer production of "9 to 5: The Musical," based on the hit 1980 movie starring Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, and Jane Fonda.
ÑÇɫӰ¿â Band to perform Music Concert
- The ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community Band will present its annual Spring Concert 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College's Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro. The concert is free and open to the public.

- The ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College Board of Trustees will meet at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, Mar. 27, in the large conference room at the Ohio Association of Community Colleges offices, 175 S. Third St., Suite 560, Columbus.
ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre presents 'By the Bog of Cats'
- ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre presents Marina Carr's "By the Bog of Cats," playing April 5-7 in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College's Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro. The Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m.; the Sunday matinee begins at 3:30 p.m.

ÑÇɫӰ¿â Board of Trustees to meet January 16
- The ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College Board of Trustees will meet 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, in Room 303 on ÑÇɫӰ¿â North Campus, 1850 Davids Drive, Wilmington. The board will enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing employment/compensation of public officials.
ÑÇɫӰ¿â announces honors lists for fall semester
- ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College has released its President's List and Dean's List for academic excellence for Fall Semester 2018.
