  • The ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, in Room 149 of Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro, for the purpose of holding an executive session to consider the acquisition and sale of property.
  • Macbeth ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre presents 'Macbeth' July 25-27
  • ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre will present William Shakespeare’s "Macbeth," at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26, and at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on the Central Campus.

  • COLUMBUS – State finance expert and veteran public higher education advocate Jack Hershey has been named the new President and CEO of the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC).
  • ÑÇɫӰ¿â Aviation Maintenance Students Info session planned May 20 for ÑÇɫӰ¿â’s aviation degree
  • An associate’s degree in Engineering: Aviation Maintenance is now offered through a partnership between ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College and Great Oaks Career Campuses. Those interested in learning more about the program are invited to a May 20 orientation and informational session; classes begin Aug. 25.
  • John Bush, Paula Campagna, Shannon Cornett ÑÇɫӰ¿â students named to All-Ohio Academic Team
  • Sixty of the highest achieving community-college students from around Ohio were honored Wednesday, April 30, as part of the All-Ohio Academic Team Awards. Seven students from ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College were included in the honors.

  • Macbeth Auditions ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre sets ‘Macbeth’ auditions this weekend
  • ÑÇɫӰ¿â Theatre is pleased to announce upcoming auditions for the summer production of William Shakespeare’s "Macbeth." Open to community members and students, auditions will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 18, and 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College’s Central Campus.
  • Board Meeting ÑÇɫӰ¿â Board of Trustees to meet April 9
  • The ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College Board of Trustees will meet 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, for a tour of the Mt. Orab Campus, followed by a 5:30 regular meeting at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley, 215 Hughes Blvd., Mt. Orab.
  • Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor John Carey Chancellor meets with ÑÇɫӰ¿â State students
  • John Carey, Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor, visited the Fayette Campus of ÑÇɫӰ¿â State Community College Monday to meet with students and discuss the new community college funding formula that is currently in the Ohio legislature.

  • In his fourth State of the State address, Gov. John Kasich placed high importance on learning initiatives in Ohio, specifically citing the move to performance-based funding and the community college's role in workforce development, college credit in high school, and GED attainment.
