ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â announces free GED preparation classes- The Adult Opportunity Center (AOC) at ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College is offering a January orientation in basic academic skills, GED preparation, and college readiness.

U.S. Bank contributes to ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Foundation- U.S. Bank has been a significant contributor to ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State, exceeding $16,000 in donations and resulting in numerous scholarships to ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State students.
Carey to visit ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â to discuss business/education grant partnership- Chancellor John Carey of the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) will visit ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College Monday, Nov. 23, to lead a roundtable discussion with RAPIDS Grant partners to discuss funding awarded to the region.
ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â band to perform Nov. 22 Veterans Day concert- The ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community Band will honor our nation’s veterans with a Veterans Day concert 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College’s Central Campus.
ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Board of Trustees to meet November 18- The ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College Board of Trustees will meet 12 noon Wednesday, Nov. 18, in the Community Center of ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Fayette Campus.
Free CMT Concert at ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â/Hillsboro on Nov. 12- Country Music Television is coming to ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College in Hillsboro for a free concert featuring Carly Pearce who recently was recognized as one of CMT’s 2016 Next Women of Country.

ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â students invited to Ohio Collegiate Leadership Summit- Two local college students have been invited to attend Propel Ohio, hosted by Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio. Propel Ohio is an Ohio Collegiate Leadership Summit to be held Oct. 16 at The Ohio State University Student Union.
ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Theatre presents "Becky’s New Car" Nov. 6-8- ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Theatre will present "Becky’s New Car," at 7:30 p.m. on both Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7, and a matinee at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, in the Edward K. ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Basic Peace Officers complete training- The cadets of ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College’s Basic Peace Officers Training Program were recognized at a special ceremony held August 13 at the college’s Fayette Campus in Washington Court House.

Earn an ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â degree in 18 months with new evening accelerated program- With ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College’s new accelerated associate degree programs, students can spend just two nights per week in class—and finish in 18 months.
ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â offers new six-weekend Real Estate program- A new accelerated program in Real Estate will be offered at ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College beginning in September.
Upcoming info sessions for ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â programs- ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College is hosting informational sessions for several of its technical programs which are offered at both campus and offsite locations. The info sessions are being held at the locations where those programs are offered. Fall semester classes begin Aug. 24 and registration is now underway.
Wallace named keynote speaker for July 20-23 education conference at ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â- Dr. Teri Wallace has been named the keynote speaker for the seventh annual education conference, "Building Bridges," which will be held July 20-23, 2015, at ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Com-munity College’s Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.
ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State announces new GED site in West Union- ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College announces the opening of a new GED preparation site in West Union. Beginning in August, the college’s Adult Opportunity Center will offer its GED prep classes from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the West Union Church of Christ on 270 Lloyd Road (across from the high school).

The ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Foundation presented the award to Haley Meranda, a 2015 graduate of Georgetown High School.

ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â’s Associate Degree Nursing program celebrates graduation- Forty-two graduates of ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College’s Associate Degree Nursing program were recognized during a recent pinning ceremony at the college’s Central Campus in Hillsboro.
ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â instructor wins state nursing educator award- A nursing instructor with ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College has been awarded the Excellence in Practical Nursing Education Award from the Ohio Organization of Practical Nurse Educators (OOPNE) at the state conference in March.

Dr. Randall to deliver ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â commencement address- ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College is pleased to announce Thomas Randall, M.D., has been selected to deliver the commencement address for the college’s 40th graduating class. Commencement will begin 7 p.m. Friday, May 8, in The Patriot Center on Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

De Bruin, Prickett, Rudduck sworn in as ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â trustees- At the March 18 meeting of the ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â State Community College Board of Trustees, Clinton County Common Pleas Court Judge Tim Rudduck presided over the swearing in of Brian De Bruin, Brian Prickett, and Kyle Rudduck, whose appointments fill the final vacancies on the college’s board.
